After some absence on this matter I am returning to handpick the best and worst dresser from the street wear site www.hel-looks.com I just noticed that other fashion blogs have noticed that I am doing so and commented about it and shown some interest towards it. Naturally I must get back on the subject to cause some locomotion among the fellow bloggers.
So here goes...
This weeks worst dresser in my opinion is...
... is this poor guy with a bad posture who almost looks like he is embarrassed for the clothes that he is wearing or the fact that he was asked to be in a picture. I understand that he was chosen to flag for diversity. This in my opinion is not a look it is just lack of self respect or a really bad self esteem problem. The guy is semi handsome, tall and nice looking chap, but he is dressing up like my late grandfather. The red too short and too wide cardigan is supposed to be the thing but it fails miserably to bring out the best of this character. I would say that I get the idea but isn't the idea to wear the garment in your favor and not let the most disgusting piece of clothing wear you. The pants are horrid and l
just get as worn out as he is in this picture. I always say that what ever you wear and if it looks good in a picture then it looks good on you live. I would really like to like this outfit because the guy seems to be a nice guy but I just don't.
The grand Price goes this week to this skinny Scandinavian boy.
I would portray this as elegant with a twist. It plays with the classic colours black and white by still not being obvious. Plain clean simple cuts that suit and fit this lean gentleman. With good accessories pinpointing the scarf and Luis Vuitton men's bag - thank God without the anagram which looks cheap on every single person, me included. I don't like the the black cross by Antti Asplund which is hanging on every fashion wannabe's neck at the moment on the streets of Helsinki. It is like a religion - I have never been too keen on mass style waves. Well I would understand that if you are a priest. The best thing is that the look looks clean and well thought and it is always a pleasure to see people who take care of them selves and know what fits their body and mind best. Remember you are always entitled to wear what you feel like, but don't think you are stylish or fashionable just by wearing the first thing you find in your closet. Style is an art form it takes a bit time to create a killer combo.
