Then, now and soon…
Last night Jen JenPR released her PR agency at the Beurs van Berlage, accompanied by several fashionshows. The first show presented was from Eleonore de Ruuk. Her collection, named ‘Lanzarique’ is inspired by the artist César Manrique. Her clothes, for both men and women, are very geometrical, inspired by Manrique’s geometrical abstract style. The collection is both comfortable and stylish. Sweat fabrics like jerseys, woven and knitted wool, soft woven cotton and denim predominated. We were really surprised by the hairdo’s of the models: Their ponytails peeped through a hole in their hoodies. It looked quite sweet. Maybe a new fashion trend?
The second collection was from br.wn clothes, this fashion label was established in June 2007 by Melanie Brown. Her collection, named ‘Twice’ is based on the philosophy that every outfit appears twice. This doubleness is accentuated in the fabrics. Often the first outfit was made from high quality silks giving a soft, approachable silhouette and the second one was made from simpler rougher cottons giving more emphasis to the form. Her collection is truly beautiful and feminine. We would like to have every piece of her collection!
Quite nice about the evening was the ‘Second Life’ part of the show: Ewing fashion Agency made a copy of every piece of clothing. For half an hour the real world merged with virtual life, a whole new experience!
JenJenPR convinced us about her PR qualities: the evening was well organized. But the third and final show (designed by JenJenPR) also made clear why she didn’t start a fashion label. The red, white and black table-cloths connected by safety-pins were disappointing. So JenJen, please surprise us again next time with another well-organized show!

thx you, you've got the message!
